What Preschool for All is

Preschool for All is an Illinois state-funded program that provides free preschool for children ages 3 to 5 who meet eligibility criteria. At Lakeview, children in Preschool for All join our preschool classroom and receive the same Creative Curriculum, meals, and daily routine as every other child.

How eligibility works

Eligibility is determined by the state based on factors that can include family income, risk factors, and availability. Priority categories exist for children with certain needs. Because eligibility details change, we do not publish thresholds here.
